Information Bulletin 1 for the 2012 EDBF European Nations Championships

17 January 2012 - Information Bulletin 1 for the 2012 EDBF European Nations Championships (ENC) and the Nottingham International Regatta for Clubs and BCS Crews, to be held from the 26-29 July 2012, at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham, England, are now available for download.

The ENC are restricted to EDBFMember Countries but the Nottingham International Regatta is open to Club and BCS Crews from all IDBF Members around the world and crews from Countries where there is not an IDBFMember are also invited to Race the Dragon in Nottingham.

Please note that for the European Nations Championship, all team selection and registration processes must go through the EDBF-member national federation.

The European Dragon Boat Federation is a Member of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) and recognised by the IDBF as the specific Governing Body for Dragon Boating in Europe.
The IDBF is the world governing authority for Dragon Boat Sport and the Member International Federation of SportAccord (the General Association of International Sports Associations) specifically for Dragon Boating. SportAccord is an International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognised sports association.
The IDBF is also an International Federation recognised by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and is a Founder Member of the Association of International Paddle Sports Federation (AIPSF).
