Austrian Dragon Boat Championships Scheduled for 2007

Peter Widhalm of the Austrian Dragon Boat Federation reports that 2006 has been a year of tremendous growth on the Austrian DB scene. Comprising mostly festival and corporate events at the moment, the number of Austrian paddlers participating in dragon boat racing has nearly doubled in comparison to last year. Vienna looks like it might be waltzing to the beat of a different drum as sponsors and venue are already being lined up for the 2007 Austrian Dragon Boat Federation Championships.
